About this Event
Join glass artist Kate Doig from Firewolf Glass. This copper foiling glass workshop will focus on making beautiful little light catchers for your windows, tree or as decorative gifts for friends or family. The day includes all materials and use of equipment. Please bring an apron and wear closed in shoes.
You will learn how to cut glass safely, how to use a glass grinder, how to apply copper foil and how to solder it all together. There will be templates for you to use. This will be a fun filled day so why not come with a friend?
This workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those who have more experience. Not suitable for children.
Tea and coffee throughout the day is provided. Lunch can be purchased from the Grainstore Café or bring a packed lunch.
