Join Daiva from Oilme Soaps for relaxing few hours of Christmas Soap & Wax Melt making in Wakefield! It's an ideal activity if you're looking for a fun, mindful, and hands-on experience where you can craft something lovely to use at home or give as a thougthful gift.
Guided by an expert maker, you will discover the art of soap-making in a relaxed and welcoming environment. You'll learn how to design and create custom soaps from scratch using, using clear melt and pour soap (SLS and SLES free) along with a wide range of botanicals, minerals, and oils to tailor beautiful soaps to your exact taste and mood. We even have a selection of different moulds, so you can get truly creative - fancy a Christmas tree-shaped soap that smells of roses and geraniums? You can make it here! This workshop is a wonderful way to enjoy a mindful escape from busy life and is perfect for enjoying solo or with friends.
After making your soap I'll guide you through an on trend home fragrance craft - soy wax sachets. These scented shapes of soy wax can be hung up in your home to add scent or popped in drawers or wardrobes as a freshener. Decorated with festive botanicals - such as dried oranges, eucalyptus leaf, pine cones and colourful satin ribbon, you can create a unique scented Christmas decoration for your home or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and is perfect for those looking for a fun social event while still creating lovely items to take home.
At the end of the workshop there will be time to individually gift wrap each soap, making them perfect as gifts and even better as a treat for yourself.
