Join Angela from 'Sew Impressed' for a very merry sustainable sewing workshop. Participants will create a Christmas stocking or bunting.
About this Event
Participants will use sewing machines to upcycle fabric off-cuts, that may have otherwise ended up in landfill, to create a Christmas stocking or Christmas bunting that will bring festive cheer year after year. During the workshop there will also be the opportunity to view favourites from the Wanneroo Museum textile collection that show family life in times gone by.
No sewing experience is necessary and sewing machines and accessories supplied. A variety of festive fabrics will be available for upcycling, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
