Back by popular demand, James B Partridge (School Assembly Bangers LIVE!) returns to Canvas, this time, he’s cracking out the Christmas Carols too! An evening of pure nostalgia, stepping back in time for some joyous tunes from our Primary School days plus Christmas’ past.
You won’t have to sit cross legged by the tree waiting for Santa, but you will be encouraged to sing along! As well as school assembly bangers, this fun show guarantees festive surprises, throwback mashups and reflections of growing up in the 90’s and at Christmas time.
James is a singing teacher and regularly performs across the UK and Europe. He has been featured on Loose Women (ITV), Vanessa Feltz show (TalkTV) and The One Show (BBC). He recently featured live on Jeremy Vine’s BBC Radio 2 show. His online videos have been written about in The Independent, Buzzfeed and featured in several podcasts including education sector podcast “Skills World”, “Teachers Talk Radio” and “At Home With…”. Radio appearances include BBC Radio 2 with Scott Mills, BBC 5 Live, BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC Radio Leicester, BBC Radio Lancashire, Absolute Radio and JackFM.
We will be welcoming ticket holders upstairs from 7pm – artists take to the stage at approx. 8pm.
‘Seated tickets’ and ‘Standing only’ tickets are now available for most shows.
A ‘Standing only’ ticket means that you will not be allocated a seat, whereas ‘Seated tickets’ have allocated seating all evening. We kindly ask all ‘standing ticket’ holders to respect the view of seated guests and request that customers that wish to stand watch the show near the bar.
Tables for ‘seated tickets’ are allocated for 2 persons or more. Coming with friends but purchasing tickets separately? Please call us and we’ll do our very best to situate your tables next to each other, however this is not guaranteed.
Please note, due to seating plans, we only have a limited number of tables for two available.

We know your plans may change and, as a gesture of good will – we’ll always do our very best to ‘resell’ any tickets surrendered/offered back to us prior to any show. If you DO have any spare tickets, always talk to us first before trying to resell on social media – we may have a waiting list!
However, please understand that resale ticket sales are not guaranteed – and we are not liable for any refunds/credits should these tickets not re-sell prior to the event.
Please note – we are unable to refund tickets due to Covid-19 related cancellations.
In the unfortunate instance where we were forced to cancel any events – full refunds will be issued.
