Christmas Pudding MasterclassEver wondered how your Nanna used to make those luscious traditional Christmas Puddings of your childhood? Then this workshop is for you!
Making your Christmas Pudding in November will give the flavours
of all the dried fruits baked together with the spices, eggs, flour, and butter time to mature. Not to mention the rum and brandy that the fruit has been bathing in!
This is a hands-on course with participants making their own pudding to take home. This class includes a light lunch and a glass (or 2) of Champagne and sampling a traditional Christmas Pudding and brandy custard.
Classes are limited to 8 students. Small class sizes ensure individual instruction and attention. All ingredients, equipment, steaming basins and instruction will be provided.

In this course you will learn how to:
• Avoid typical mistakes when making and storing puddings
• Custom flavour your pudding
• Store and serve your pudding including flambéing with brandy
• Learn about the history of the English Plum Pudding
• Students will need to bring an apron
At the end of this class, you will take home the recipe and your own traditional Christmas Pudding in a quality 2 litre steamer ready to cook. Your pudding will easily serve 12-16 people.
