Another brand-new workshop! This time, I am stepping away from botanical designs into something more festive! Come and make paper Christmas baubles with me at Bus Stop Studios. I have been making these baubles for a number of years since working with DeBeers Forevermark on their Christmas window displays. I also dipped my toe in the Papery Christmas world back in 2018 when I competed on Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas on Chanel 4.
The basic technique used to create these baubles can be adapted to suit all tastes. Stick to traditional round baubles in the red, green and gold or why not make a scalloped neon version if that’s your Christmas vibe?
Handmade decorations bring unique personality to your tree and home and when stored properly, will last for years to come. They also make great gifts for hard to buy for friends and family. The workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike.
My workshop mantra is always ‘It’s not wrong, it’s different’ I love to see how different everyone’s makes are at the end of our time together.
I will bring a range of papers with me including some festive colours, paper made from seaweed bi-product and everything in between! All other materials and tools needed will be provided on the day but if you have been saving any special paper for ‘a future project’ and you think this could be the one, feel free to bring it along!
