We are so excited to once again host Christmas on Main! This free community event features multiple activities to celebrate the holiday season, including our beloved Tree Lighting Ceremony and a visit with Santa. Enjoy a delicious breakfast with the jolly man himself! Load up on toppings with the Miss Flame Court and visit with Volunteer Firefighters. Story Time with Mrs. Claus– 10:00am or 11:00am Two identical sessions
North Bend Public Library 1800 Sherman Ave inside Meeting Room.
Two repeat identical sessions. Cozy up for enchanting holiday tales read by Mrs. Claus. Get ready to move around with holiday sing along with the North Bend Library staff and write letters to Santa.
Free Ice Skating – 11:00am - 3:00pm
North Bend Ice Skating Rink 2040 Union Avenue.
Glide across the ice with family and friends during Free Skating for all ages. Enjoy holiday music and spread holiday cheer by donating a new unwrapped toy to the Bus Jam and receive a FREE gift! Free Skating is sponsored by Ziply Fiber.
Elf of the Shelf & Hot Cocoa Crawl- 11:00am-2:00pm
Downtown North Bend starts at Visitor Information Center 745 California Ave.
Get warmed up with the popular and fun Hot Cocoa Crawl! A suggested $5.00 donation includes a reusable cocoa glass and a map of participating locations. This fun business-to-business event lets you fill up on cocoa at one stop, then visit other locations to top off your drink with all sorts of toppings and goodies. Don’t miss the Hot Cocoa Photo Booth at the Visitor Center! Be on the lookout for mischievous Elves taking over Main Street! Spot one, and enter for a chance to win some fantastic prizes. With over 20 winners, the more places you visit, the better your chances of scoring a win! You may enter once at each location each day, December 1st through 12th!
Holiday Block Party– 2:00pm-5:00pm
Visitor Information Center Parking Lot 745 California
Celebrate the season with free face painting, holiday crafting, performances , non-profits, and more. Food trucks will be on site and tables provided inside the festival tent. Santa Arrives at 3:00pm. Capture the fun 2:00pm-4:00pm with the Holiday Photo Booth by Candid by Stefani.
Annual Tree Lighting– 5:00pm
Grant Circle Roundabout / City Hall 835 California Ave.
Watch the magical moment as Mayor Engelke lights the tree illuminating the night. Tree lighting will be around 5:10, immediately following everyone is welcomed to gather in the festival tent for holiday fun. Complementary Cider and cookies will be offered in the Visitor Information Center next to the festival tent. Food trucks will be on site nearby and Fire Truck rides offered nearby.
Lighted Christmas Parade– 6:00pm
Downtown North Bend Going through once, line up starts at 5:00pm
Parade will pass by the Fire Station, Lincoln Square, Library, Grant Circle and City Hall. Marvel at the twinkling lights and festive vehicles as they parade through the streets in a dazzling display of holiday cheer. Visit northbendoregon.us/LightedChristmasParade for application and map.
Christmas OPRY– 7:00pm-9:00pm
Liberty Theatre 2100 Sherman Ave.
Celebrate the season with a spectacular mix of traditional carols and contemporary holiday hits! This family favorite features an incredible band, singers, and dancers that will bring the holiday spirit to life. This is a wonderful way to end out a day long Christmas celebration and is a perfect way to support arts and culture in our community.
