Join us for our Christmas festive outing Saturday 7th December!This year’s Christmas outing will take us to beautiful Durham City for the annual Durham Christmas Festival.
A perfect opportunity for Christmas shopping, we will visit the Craft & Producers Marquee, Festive Outdoor Market and Durham Market Hall, and why not visit the Cathedral?
This day also enjoys the children’s lantern parade. The Lantern Parade will leave the Market Place at 2.30pm following the Chester-le-Street Salvation Army Band up to Palace Green and arriving at Durham Cathedral for the St Nicholas Service at 3pm.

Leaving park at 10am to join the festive atmosphere at Durham Christmas Festival, returning at 4PM.
There is a free accessible taxi service to Palace Green from the city centre, provided for those with difficulty walking up to Palace Green.
