Christmas in Chorley will get underway in style with the Christmas Lights Switch On, sponsored by Chorley Eats, with special guests and a fantastic line up of entertainment which begins at 1pm on the Market Street stage, hosted by BBC Radio Lancashire's Graham Liver, building up to the big switch on taking place at 5pm.Special guest, Shane Lynch of Chorley FC and Boyzone will be doing the honours of turning Chorley’s Christmas lights on.

The Totally Locally Christmas Market will also return for another year, taking place on the same day (from 10am) with lots of independent traders, entertainment including children’s rides and more.
