Join us for this year’s ‘Christmas Light Switch On’ event on The Square, Wolverton and start the magical Christmas season with some festive sparkle. The event will also be supported with a visit from Santa!There will be live entertainment around the Christmas tree from our local schools and Churches Together. Sing Space Choir will once again be joining us for a special performance for the public.
The café at Foundation House will be open for snacks and drinks – and there will be more excitement for families at this venue with a magic shows at 5:30pm and 6:15pm from experienced magician “Uncle Bob”.
The Shop on the Square will be opening their doors with local festive goods for sale, along with Wolverton Gin. Nellie's Smellies, MLP Gems and St Georges Church will have stall selling a range of festive items. Mr Beans on The Square and Mrs B's on Church Street will also be open late during the event. Finally, MK University Hospital will be in attendance raising awareness of their charity.
If that was not enough to entice you, we will be joined by Street Food vendors Better Than Mama’s (African & Caribbean) and Plant Bass’d (Home cooked plant-based dishes) to tempt everyone’s appetites.
The event will run from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with the main light ‘Switch On’ at 6pm.
