About this Event
“Alex Garnett has all the individuality, skill, and stamina every star soloist needs.” – Evening Standard
To many, Alex Garnett needs no introduction.
Known, loved, and respected by musicians and audiences alike, Alex brings incredible musicality, pure jazz pedigree, and a wonderfully humorous spirit to every performance. This final night of our winter season promises to be something truly special for everyone who comes along.
The son of the late, great Willie Garnett, and a longtime host of Ronnie Scott’s late-night sessions, Alex has performed in over 30 countries worldwide. He has graced iconic venues such as Birdland, Blue Note, and festivals including Vittoria, Montreux, and Oslo.
His collaborators are as diverse as they are esteemed, ranging from Wynton Marsalis and Sir John Dankworth to Pete King, Humphrey Lyttelton, Van Morrison, and even The Rolling Stones.
With a discography so extensive, one might wonder if there’s anyone in jazz he hasn’t played with.
I am so glad he is my friend.
Expect an evening filled with jazz classics, warmth, mince pies, and a sprinkle of holiday magic at our very special club.
Book early to reserve your seat!
Kindest Festive Wishes to all,
Lesley Christiane
