Saturday 9th December, experience the return of a magical community Christmas event along Prospect Road from 4pm - 9pm.
Witness a spectacular arrive from Santa to the event at 4pm, accompanied by Lucy Hood MP in vintage car & with a group of our charity motorbike riders. Local schools, kindergartens and local families, we invite you to join us at 3.45pm in the carpark near Olive Street to witness his arrival! He'd love to see you smiling faces as he arrives.
Gather in Prospect Council's Carpark at the Olive Street entrance in a joyous parade of bubbles and colour and join his walk with Lucy Hood MP to welcome and greet our guest, the Premier Peter Malinauskas.
It's becoming a much loved tradition to witness the Premier and City of Prospect officially illuminating our gorgeous 12ft Christmas tree to begin our festivities! 🎄
Our community event promises an array of mouth watering FOOD FROM THE DIVERSE CULTURES within our community, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Filipino food, Thai, and food from our Prospect Road Traders. There's something for everyone!
CHRISTMAS GIFT MARKETS featuring PLEG Stalls, gift wrapping and find Prospect Lions Club stalls decorated with fairy lights for the to decorate their very own Christmas decorations.
CAROLS sung by our community from 400-500 by La La Land, Anna from Pun Thai and Reuben Calleja Trio.
LIVE MUSIC by Aaron Thomas Band bringing the tunes from 5-8, DJ Sassy by Nature from 8-9
SANTA'S LITTLE HELPERS will be very busy Elves greeting all the children visiting Santa on the night. Don't miss out on the Christmas Glitter Angels by Calamity Tash, hair braiding by our local Joe from CURJO HAIR, reindeer food and lucky dips with CENTURY 21 PROSPECT, LUCY HOOD MP's stall with have badge making & popcorn, NORTH ADELAIDE ROOSTERS are handing out sweet treats and of course Santa will be there for our community to see for FREE!
