TIS THE SEASON MY FRIENDS, TO BE MERRY. To celebrate with loved ones, to feast at decadent tables and sup of many a fine beverage, to decorate our homes with festive flair, and to dress up and dance to the music of minstrels while praising the glory and joy of life. Our pagan ancestors have done so for thousands of years.
It is also a time when one extremist religious cult called Christianity tries to jam it’s weird ideologies down the throat of the world with their billion dollar PR machine while claiming total ownership of the entire celebration.
So, if you would like to celebrate the season in a different way, we welcome you to attend DANE BLACKLOCK AND THE PREACHER’S DAUGHTER’S SATANIC CHRISTMAS PANTOMIME. A Christmas bacchanal like no other, interactive, theatrical, glorious, and ridiculous. There will be incredible music, giant puppets, roving performers, feasting, gift giving, and Dane Blacklock and the Preacher’s Daughter will enact, live on stage, a life size nativity scene and tell (a somewhat alternative version of) the story of Christmas. Come dressed in your most satanic version of the season, be it an elf from the underworld, a demonic Santa, a pagan priestess, a druid or just a Myer employee. Santa hats with horns, ugly Christmas sweaters depicting Satan himself, pan the pagan god of wine and dancing. There will be a prize for best dressed. There will be joy and frivolity. There will be bangers.
