Christmas in Chilliwack!December 22nd is my Grandma’s birthday and I want to honour her memory this year by giving back to our community. I will do it a day early to have the weekend this year!
I am collecting socks, umbrellas, blankets, snacks, something sweet, hand warmers, gloves and toques.
The goal is to give a wrapped gift to each person we see.
I will also have a carafe of hot chocolate to hand out.
I have done this on a much smaller scale ny myself in previous years, but am on a limited budget this year, so I am reaching out to friends and family to join me! Last year I had a few friends join me and it was great to have some company as well as have someone to debrief with afterwards!
One man was in disbelief and told us he had not had a Christmas present in 23 years!!
Meet at 2pm at Freshco downtown to join me for the handout, or pm me to arrange a drop off of your donation for me to wrap in time tor the 21st!
