For 18 years now, one of the beloved Christmas traditions here in Cypress has been "Christmas in a Barn". In a world that often tries to do Christmas bigger, brighter, and more spectacular than before, this does just the opposite. We gather with very little fanfare or spectacle, sit on hay bales in our old barn, sing a few Christmas carols and hear again that timeless story about the humble birth of our Savior, Jesus. It is a beautiful, simple, and powerful reminder of what Christmas is all about -- God's gift of Jesus sent to save the ones He loves so much. Come join us. Dress weather appropriate, as the event is subject to the elements.
