Get hands-on with clay at this Ceramics Workshop with award-winning degree qualified ceramicist Katherine Fortnum, who has 10+ years’ experience.During the workshop you will create a fabulous festive Christmas Gonk! These guys are full of character! Will yours have a curly beard? Or a fury beard? Will the feet stick out? Will the hat have a bobble? Is the hats decoration going to have 3D stars all over, or perhaps you’ll carve swirly spirals? Or add a flower! It will be 100% unique, designed, hand built, and decorated by you.
A variety of sculpting and decoration methods will be demonstrated to help your creative juices flow. You will create your Gonk, add decoration and colour within the workshop, and then I will dry and fire your ceramic pieces.
*minimum age 10 (capably creative children due to complexity) – must attend with a fully paid adult 16+
