Grab your friends and a bottle of wine ( or T2 tea provided) for this relaxing workshop. As we listen to Christmas Carols we will glaze away at an old fashioned ceramics class. . I will guide you through the steps of working with ceramics and learning some basic glazing skills to glaze a Gingerbread House Lantern.
You will start with 1 slip cast Gingerbread Lantern which you will sand, and paint with underglazes
Your masterpieces will be left here to be fired in the kiln. Pick up your house in approximately one week - just in time to display with a tealight for Christmas!
Class duration is roughly 1.5- 2.5 hours. This will depend on your skill level and speed. I never rush anyone- so take your time and enjoy the process.
House size 16.5cm x 12cm and will shrink slightly in the kiln.
What to bring:
BYO nibbles and sips.
Glasses are provided.
