Christmas Fused Glass Decorations Workshop

This is a 3 hour session in Fused Glass- based in my home studio.
This workshop is for beginners as well as those that have had some experience, the workshop is run with a maximum of 4 students ensuring that each student receives individual attention.
Each student has use of all the tools and equipment they will need while taking part in the workshop.
All patterns and materials such as glass etc are supplied at no extra cost.
Each piece made will need to be fired in my Kiln over night - arrangements to collect your work will be made, or at an extra cost, your glass art can be posted out to you, Approx. time for return of work is 2 weeks,
What will I make on the workshop?
You will have the opportunity to make 1 or 2 fused glass window / Christmas Tree hangings. You will have the choice of a number of different patterns to choose from, or bring your own ideas, we can discuss these at the session,
What will I learn on the workshop?
You will learn all the basic skills needed to make a window hanging such as:
Scoring and breaking glass to fit a pattern.
Selecting suitable glass
Securing glass into place
Adding 'Inclusions / copper wire)
Attaching support rings.
Please note:
• It is recommended that you bring reading glasses for close work.
• It is recommended that you wear sensible shoes (no open toed shoes) when attending the workshop.
What's included in the price?
All materials such as glass and firing in the kiln are provided at no extra cost.
Homemade cake, teas and coffees are available through the day.
