Powertex is a water based, non toxic fabric hardener and sculpting medium. Powertex can be used on indoor projects as well as becoming weather/water resistant, once it is fully dried (approximately 3 weeks). It is becoming very popular with crafts and artists alike so why not give it a try.
In this class you will be powertex, a pre-molded plaster head and various textiles to design and create your own free standing Christmas Fairy or Angel. Once dry you will use a dry brush technique to colour and enhance the texture on your sculpture, the exact colour and design are your choice and down to your own imagination. There will examples to inspire your imagination. Once finished you take your unique sculpture home with you.
This class is suitable for complete beginners and aimed at adults, over 10's can also book a place and welcome to attend when accompanied by a full paying adult.
Everything You need will be provided including gloves and apron. Please do wear old clothes you don't mind getting a little messy.
