🎄✨ Don't miss out on this year’s Magical Christmas Eve Torchlit Procession! ✨🎄Join us at 6 PM on Grampian Road for an enchanting evening filled with festive cheer and excitement. The procession will be led by the Badenoch & Strathspey Pipe Band and will feature a host of Christmas delights, including:
🎅 Santa in his sleigh, accompanied by real-live reindeer
🎠Pantomime characters spreading festive fun
🎉 Members of the public with their torches, in their best fancy dress, movie costumes, and best festive attire -
🚒 A fire engine - and possibly a float or two
The procession will conclude at the Cairngorm Hotel, where we can warm up with hot chocolate or glühwein and join in a festive sing-along with Speysound Radio as we bid Santa farewell. 🎶 And to top off this magical evening, enjoy a spectacular firework display — all thanks to the wonderful Cairngorm Hotel! 🎆
TORCHERS will be available to purchase for those wanting to take part in the procession - details coming soon.
TORCHES - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Torches must be part of the procession ONLY (ie not on the pavement/among spectators)
- Torches will be lit before the procession starts (at Muirton, by the fire station) - please be there at 5.45 pm.
- Torches must not be near the reindeer at any time
- No torches inside the car park at Cairngorm Hotel (metal bins will be provided to dispose of them)

Calling all local businesses, organisations, families, groups!
Come in fancy dress, costume or Christmas jumpers to the Fire Station at 5.45 pm. If you've bought a torch, that's where we'll light them too. Sorry, but dogs are not permitted to be part of the procession.

We'll be collecting donations along Grampian Road to support this community event, so please bring along some change to contribute. 💖
