The Advent season is much deeper than a cute baby born in a manger. The word “advent” means arrival, and arriving in that baby boy is the greatest love humanity has ever experienced. He is Jesus, the Incarnate God; the source of joy that lives beyond circumstance; the peace of God that transcends all understanding; and the eternal hope that rescues our souls. The season of Advent is discovering the arrival of everything our hearts have been searching for.Advent at Evergreen looks like celebration.
