You are warmly invited to the first ever Christmas Craft Fair at South Street!It’s an opportunity to support and showcase local businesses and craftspeople, for the whole community to connect and come together, and perhaps to start (or finish!) their Christmas shopping! The Fair will be hosted in the beautiful historic space of the Oasis Church building on South Street, and will run from 11am-3pm on Saturday 7th December.
Along with a range of fantastic exhibitors, there will also be refreshments available, kids' craft activities, and Wreath Displays by community groups who meet regularly at South Street.
Practical details
- Entry to the fair is free.
- Many of the exhibitors will have card machines, but it is advised to bring cash in case.
- The entire building is a no-smoking and no-vaping zone.
- Service dogs are welcome in the church!
Parking
Free parking is available on neighbouring streets, or there is a Council car park on nearby York Street, B17 0HG, which is £5 for the whole day. Please do park considerately to help us be good neighbours in our community, including not parking up on the pavement on the 'church-side' of South Street.
Accessibility
- There are steps at the front of the building, but an accessible entrance is located down the left-hand-side (marked 'Cadbury Entrance'). Once inside the building, there is step-free access throughout to all publicly-accessible areas.
- A wheelchair is available for users of the building to borrow if needed. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to reserve this for the event.
- An accessible toilet is available towards the rear of the building - follow internal signs for 'Toilets' and you will find it at the end of the corridor.
- The Sensory Space at South Street will be open for use free of charge during the event. It is fitted with mood lights, bean bags and cushions, a swing chair and smaller sensory toys.
