Many people don’t realize the numerous ways you can use Hoodoo, Witchcraft and Folk Magic over the holidays. In this class Papa Gee will discuss some interesting ways to lay some happy holiday tricks, including: sachet powders on wrapping papers and Christmas cards; altering cookie recipes for love, favor, or to expel enemies; turning your ornaments and wreaths into amulets of protection; transforming those gingerbread men into “voodoo dolls,” carving sigils directly into your Yule log, binding work with holly —- and other ways to bring new and magical meanings to the term “Christmas Spirit.”This is an expanded version of the class taught for many years, formerly called ‘hoodoo for the holidays.’ And, of course, there will be Christmas cookies to nibble on.
Papa Gee is a folklorist, rootworker and tarot reader. He is the author of 14 books on folk magic and crafting and is a frequent guest on the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour radio show.
