COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. -- With great joy for the holiday season, the East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra announces its lineup of Christmas-themed concerts and performances. The following family-friendly events are free and open to the public:
Saturday, December 13, 7 p.m. - Feast of Lights at South Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church
The ETSO invites the community to a Christmas Classical concert led by ETSO Music Director Jeremy Francisco at South Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church (4605 Redlands Dr., in Chattanooga).
Tuesday, December 25, 4 p.m. - Messiah Sing-a-Long at The Commons
The community is invited to join the orchestra in the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah at The Commons (4950 Swinyar Dr., in Collegedale). A limited number of vocal scores are available (bringing one’s own is recommended). String instruments players are also welcomed.
