A Community Connector is someone local, clued-up about services and support available, helping those in need. Up For Yorkshire are creating a network, to support and celebrate Community Connectors.
Up For Yorkshire are inviting professional and volunteer Community Connectors for networking, expert talks and sharing success stories.
Our next network event is about community physical activity provision, and how as Community Connectors we are helping to make people more active, to gain the amazing health, wellbeing and social benefits. So we are bringing experts and service providers together to showcase the incredible services available in the Selby area, and provide information on where to go for help, just in time for the New Year!So, if you are interested in finding out who is offering what, for whom and where, or you would like to start a new activity join us for a mince pie, get clued-up and meet other Community Connectors.
