Welcome to our festive Clay Club at the Crafter's Corner!Want to give have a go at hand building? Come and join us in our beautiful crafters corner space and learn how to make a cute gingerbread house, perfect for the festive period and all year long too!Chief Creative Becky will walk you through the building process, and the rest of the team will ensure you have a nice cup of tea or coffee to enjoy throughout the session. You will be using a slab building technique for this build, then shaping, cutting and painting your piece.
After your piece is made, next comes decoration. You can either choose to use one of our beautiful all over glazes, or come back into our pottery studio at a later date (after an initial bisque firing) to paint your piece using our coloured underglazes. We recommend this option if you want to add lots of detail to your design.
Every month we will be hosting a different hand building workshop, which will be full of tips and tricks. Come along and learn a new skill in a beautiful setting with a group of creative individuals.
