Bardstown/Nelson County Tourism is delighted to announce a new event – Christmas Carnival at My Old Kentucky Home State Park, taking place on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This family-friendly holiday event promises a festive atmosphere with activities for all ages to enjoy. Admission is $10 per person, with all proceeds benefiting the FOP Lodge #43 / Bardstown/Nelson Co. Shop with a Cop program.Guests will be immersed in the magic of the season as My Old Kentucky Home transforms into a winter wonderland, featuring:
- A charming trackless train offering scenic rides through the park
- A carousel in the rotunda, perfect for all ages
- Photo opportunities and professional photos with Santa
- Face painting to add a creative touch to the holiday fun
- The captivating vortex tunnel
- A thrilling mechanical snowboard experience
- A 22-foot alpine tubing slide for a taste of winter excitement
- Bounce houses to keep the little ones entertained
- A variety of delicious offerings from local food trucks
- An inflatable snow throw, grand carnival midway, and even more fun surprises
