Christmas Calligraphy Workshop - Art Class

This workshop is a great way to learn this relaxing and creative skill. The Beginner's calligraphy class gives you the understanding of the basics so that you can succeed in creating pretty letters and we'll create some greeting cards for you to give to friends or family.

In this workshop you'll be learning:

• The differences between calligraphy and cursive handwriting
• How to hold your brush pen
• How to create the basic calligraphy strokes
• How to connect the letters
• How to put these together to form the alphabet in a calligraphic style
• Simple doodles to decorate white space
• Some greeting card designs

You'll be provided with a brush pen, some blank greetings cards and a workbook that can be used throughout the session.
