Celebrate the magic of the season at the Indianapolis Zoo's Christmas at the Zoo a cherished annual tradition running from November 23 2024 to January 5 2025. As the first zoo in the U.S. to host a holiday lights event this year marks the 57th celebration of this dazzling winter wonderland.
Highlights Include:
- Santa’s Village: Located under the Bicentennial Pavilion meet Santa in his cozy study decorate cookies with Mrs. Claus and visit Santa's reindeer in their barn.
- Tunnel of Lights: Stroll through a mesmerizing pathway of glowing lights perfect for photos.
- Animal Encounters: See arctic foxes tigers red pandas and more enjoying the crisp winter air. Nightly penguin encounters add an extra festive touch.
- New Décor: Discover stunning additions to the already beautiful light displays.
Event Details:
- Open daily from 5 PM to 9 PM (Sunday–Thursday) and 5 PM to 10 PM (Friday & Saturday).
- The event is included with regular zoo admission. Note that the zoo is closed on Thanksgiving Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. (Closed Nov. 28 Dec. 24 & 25 Dec. 31 & Jan. 1)
