Join us for one of our annual Christmas Dinners at the Duck. This year we will be back at the Pub where I think we are all agreed is the best place for Christmas! We will have two events, one on Tuesday, December 10th and one on Sunday, December 15th. If these events sell out then we may consider adding a third date on Wednesday, December 11th. This year the mulled wine is optional - if you would like mulled wine please select the appropriate ticket. The order of events will be as follows...Event starts at 6:00pm (everything will be 30 minutes earlier on the Sunday)
6:00pm Reception with mulled wine.
6:30pm Outdoor Carol singing around a fire (whatever the weather)
7:00pm Dinner served and Christmas cracker pulling
8:00pm Coffee or Tea
8:15pm Fun and games or more singing
9:00pm Wind down.
The menu will be as follows....
TRADITIONAL
Salad appetizer.
Roast turkey with cranberry sauce. Roast potatoes, creamed rutabaga, red cabbage, brussels sprouts, roasted carrots, bread sauce.
Christmas pudding with brandy butter*.
VEGETARIAN
As traditional, with nut roast substituted for the turkey.
*Brandy butter contains alcohol
Ticket prices this year include a 20% gratuity, but you are welcome to add additional tips for the staff on the evening of your British Christmas experience.
