Christmas at Jackson Barracks Returns – A Historic Holiday Celebration Like No Other New Orleans, LA – Get ready to experience the magic of the holidays in one of Louisiana’s most historic settings, Jackson Barracks, Headquarters of the Louisiana National Guard December 6–7, 2025, transforming the landmark military installation into a twinkling winter wonderland. With its grand antebellum homes, festive lights, and deep military heritage, there is truly no other holiday experience like this in the region. Hosted by the Louisiana National Guard Foundation, the event features an unforgettable lineup of Christmas activities, including performances by the 156th Army Band, local school choirs, photos with Santa, local food vendors, and a children’s activity area. VIP guided tours of historic homes and a private reception will be offered. The sights, sounds, and smells of the season will fully immerse you in the holiday spirit, creating memories that last a lifetime. This event invites not only our local communities but the entire great state of Louisiana to celebrate the season in a breathtaking space rich with Louisiana tradition.
