This is *not* an event to attend, more so a page to find all the information about partnering with Calvary Home for Christmas this season. Every year we get lots of questions and we're hoping that we can quickly answer all your burning questions in one place! FAQs for Christmas at Calvary:
1. Can I wrap the gifts?
Please do not wrap the gifts - for security, we need to be able to easily identify what is in every package that's given to our children. Additionally, our foster parents all have their own styles of wrapping gifts for the children in their homes and we want to respect their Christmas traditions.
2. When can we deliver our gifts?
We are asking that all gifts be delivered to campus no later than December 11th so that we have plenty of time to distribute and wrap. If you order gifts from Amazon, you'll have the option to ship it directly to the foster home of each child on campus!
3. The name on the Amazon shipping address is different than the child's name I'm sponsoring...
That's correct! The name on the shipping address is the name of the foster mom and their street number of their home on campus. We've custom built each list to accurately reflect their current placement.
4. Can I monogram or personalize any gifts?
This is tricky! For the safety and privacy of our children, we use pseudonyms or placeholder names on our Christmas lists, so the letter of the name you see may not accurately be reflected in their given names. If your list has a monogrammed item, we've selected a pseudonym that matches their given name.
5. Can I purchase the items on their list from somewhere other than Amazon?
Absolutely! Unfortunately, Amazon lists are the easiest way to build and share all our wishlists, but you're welcome to purchase the items from a different source. We are happy to cross the items off the list if you'll let us know when they're purchased.
