Mark your calendars for an intergenerational Christingle Workshop on Sunday, Dec. 21, right after church in Room 109. Together, we will assemble the symbolic Christingles that will be lit during the 4 p.m. Christmas Eve service. The process involves transforming a simple orange (the world) into a symbol of Christ’s love. The red tape around the center indicates Jesus’ arms around us. Earth’s people, represented by varied dried fruits, appear at all points of a compass which is made of aluminum foil on top. The finished product has a single Christ candle in the middle that shines all around the globe.
Small hands may need adult assistance, so grab a cup of coffee and join us!
