P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Christine Webb to celebrate and discuss her new book, The Arrogant Ape: an impassioned celebration of humility before the living world that leads us to a new understanding of other species—and ourselves.
Christine will be joined in conversation by Jeff Sebo, author of the . Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Christine will also sign copies ofThe Arrogant Ape.

- Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.
- Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
- Books will also be available for sale at the event.
- The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Christine Webb is a broadly trained primatologist at Harvard’s Department of Human Evolutionary Biology, with expertise in social behavior, cognition, and emotion. She works with nonhuman primates in diverse settings and collaborates with scholars from the social sciences and humanities to reimagine the role of science in the growing charge to grant moral status to other animals. Her work has been covered by popular outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, National Geographic, and the BBC.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR:Jeff Sebo is associate professor of environmental studies; affiliated professor of bioethics, medical ethics, philosophy, and law; and director of the Mind, Ethics, and Policy Program at New York University. He lives in Manhattan.
