--- English below ----Az NKE EJKK Vallás és Társadalom Kutatóintézet és Molnár Tamás Kutatóintézet tisztelettel meghívja Önt a „Christian Democracy and the Remaking of Europe” című nemzetközi konferenciára.
A második világháború után a kereszténydemokrácia jelentős szerepet játszott Európa újjáépítésében és az európai integráció elindításban, ami végül az Európai Unió megalapításához vezetett. A konferencia kettős évfordulót szeme előtt tartva fordul e fontos témához. 2024-ben emlékezünk Alcide de Gasperi olasz kereszténydemokrata politikus halálának 70. évfordulójára, valamint idén immáron 20 éve, hogy végbement az Európai Unió keleti bővítése. Ezzel összefüggésben a konferencia a kereszténydemokrácia jelenségét kívánja bemutatni nyugat- és kelet-európai szemszögből. A konferencia a kereszténydemokráciával kapcsolatos elméleti fogalmakat és a mozgalom történetére épülő empirikus megállapításokat vitatja meg.

The Ludovika University of Public Service cordially invite you to the „Christian Democracy and the Remaking of Europe” international conference.
After the Second World War, Christian democracy played a significant role in the reconstruction of Europe and in launching European integrity, which finally led to the foundation of the European Union. The international scientific conference organized by the Ludovika University of Public Service, held on the 70th anniversary of the death of Italian Christian Democratic politician Alcide de Gasperi and the 20th anniversary of the EU’s Eastern Enlargement, aims to present the phenomenon of Christian democracy from Western and Eastern European perspectives. The conference will discuss theoretical concepts related to Christian democracy and empirical findings based on the history of the movement.
