What to expect?
We will come together for this one day workshop with the drum and (re)discover the magic of its wild sound and sensation. We’ll learn practical tools and techniques for improving your drum practice and confidence. There will be a mixture of teaching points, solo and group exercises, a closed eye journeying visualisation and discussion.
We are not aiming for technical perfection; we’re aiming for courageous authenticity and to improve our confident expression of self. As this is a judgement free zone, it doesn’t matter if you think you aren’t very good, let’s learn together.

Who is this for?
This drum activation day is for anyone who wants to deepen their connection with the transformative power of the drum.
Whether you’re a beginner and are just starting or have had your drum for a while, we will journey deeper into its vibrational magic together and learn skills to deepen our practice along the way.

Your Guide
I am an intuitive facilitator, musician and guide, focusing on Sound and Ancestral Reconnection work. I have strong connection to sound, spirit and nature energies and through creating ceremony, I weave these elements into all my work.
I have a background in coaching and hypnotherapy mixed with 15 years of formal music education, resulting in a particular interest in song, musical empowerment and courageous self-expression.
I have formal training in family constellation and generational trauma release work and I am a certified trauma-informed practitioner and crisis intervention trained. I have an array of workshop holding experience from over 10 years in the corporate sector leading large groups, and from running my own healing offerings and spaces. Above all, this work is about healing, empowerment and courageous authenticity.

This was so much more than drumming. I came because I've been increasingly 'called' by the drum over a period of months. I haven't played before and wanted to explore or confirm what this calling was about. I throughly enjoyed all the elements, the practical immersion process, the discourse on various subjects, the collective drumming and singing, the partner work, the Journey (wow!), the nettle tea!

I 10/10 recommend Charlotte's drumming course to others. This is an ancient part of humanity that everyone should be experiencing. Going outside with my drum in the session felt amazing and I felt in tune with the earth and my ancestors.
