This silent, insightful retreat at the Bow Willow Campground in the Anza-Borrego Desert, allows us to leave behind the luxury of our everyday lives to focus and explore how we struggle with the themes of power, prestige and possession. We will look at how these temptations that Jesus faced relate to how these challenge us in our modern-day lives.This retreat requires experienced campers, as this will not be glamorous camping but will be simplistic in nature, just as in Jesus’ time. Simple meals will be provided as well as some basic camping supplies. WE WILL MEET AT THE MISSION AND CARPOOL TO THE CAMPSITE.
