About this Event

2024 Theme: When Faith Meets Doubt

Please join us on April 12-13, 2024 for our annual Christ in Culture Conference. This conference exists to equip, strengthen and encourage followers of Christ to think biblically about current cultural issues. This year's theme is focused on doubt and deconstruction, especially among young people in our current age.

Conference Costs:

Early Bird Admission: $40 (includes lunch and all fees)

Early Bird Student Rate: $25 (for all middle school, high school and college students)

General Admission: $50 (includes lunch and all fees)

General Student Rate: $30 (for all middle school, high school and college students)

Who Is It For?

This conference has been designed to help disciple Christians to think biblically about questions surrounding these issues in our culture. In addition, the conference is designed for those who are struggling with doubts concerning Scripture, the church and faith in Jesus. While some sessions may focus on “Deconstruction” specifically, we know that there are varying definitions of this term, and so the conference is more broadly about dealing with doubts as they relate to the Christian life and responding to those who might have left the faith. Here is how we are describing the conference:

More Canadians than ever have no religious affiliation. Why are they leaving the church? What is behind the “deconstruction” movement? And how should the church respond?

While our sessions focus on understanding cultural trends and questions, we believe that this conference needs to be deeply rooted in Scripture and the preaching of God’s word. That is why we open and close the conference with sermons. We believe Sunder Krishnan, Dr. Jonathan Stairs and Andy Smits will capably lead us in our biblical-theological thinking this year. Some sessions between the first and last sessions may be more like a lecture than a sermon, and that is good!

What Is the Purpose?

Our goal is to encourage, equip and strengthen the ministry of your local church through biblical teaching, Christ-centered fellowship and honest dialogue about our culture.

What Can We Expect?

Two days of teaching, sermons, and workshops, connecting with other believers and receiving encouragement from the Scriptures as you are resourced to serve the doubting and deconstructing in your sphere of influence. Be encouraged by the hope found in Scripture if you struggle with some of these issues yourself!
