Another stellar lineup of Australia’s favourite stand up comedians. It’s a pretty diverse bunch this month with Chris Ryan, Samuel Bowden, Laura Coleman and Rohan Arniel taking the stage.
Chris Ryan is a journalist, a Mum and a comedian, Chris Ryan’s take on everything from passive aggressive co-workers to romance earned her a Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2019 and a Best Newcomer Nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2021.
Chris’s stand up is based on her life and the people in it, making it real and relatable, delivered in her signature understated, laconic style. If you’re looking for a song and dance, you’re not getting it.
Sam Bowden is a writer, actor and comedian who's been plying his trade both here and in the UK since 2012.
Sam has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and has taken shows to all the major arts festivals in the country. His debut solo hour The Epicurean Shark sold out the Brisbane Powerhouse at the Wonderland Festival in 2018. A regular at the MELT Queer Comedy Gala, Sam now resides in Sydney and can be seen regularly performing at Sydney’s iconic Comedy Store. Described as “a storyteller at his best." by the Brisbane Stage Sam will have you captivated and hysterical and is definitely one to see!
Laura Coleman has been described by her peers as “a killer”, “super funny” and “that chick who bought me a beer once,” Laura was a 2020 and 2022 Raw Comedy state finalist and is now one of the most popular new acts on the Sydney scene.
Rohan Arniel has a unique view of the world around him. Hilarious storytelling with some brilliant but whacky observations Rohan leaves audiences in absolute hysterics every time he takes to the stage.
