About Chris Koza:
With a career that has taken him across the United States, sharing stages with renowned musicians such as Gordon Lightfoot, Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Michaelson, Andrew Bird, Stephen Kellogg, and many more, Chris Koza is a true Americana artist. ? His music regularly graces the airwaves on ABC's "General Hospital," "60 Minutes," and "Good Morning America." Koza's song "Rogue Valley" was even featured in Ben Stiller's film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."
Chris embraces classic Americana sounds while infusing them with a contemporary twist, utilizing a wide range of textures that blend folk and pop with a storytelling emphasis. His music features subtle synthesizers, rich harmonies, and a pop-music sensibility, all woven together with acoustic and electric guitars, earthy pianos, and familiar rhythms.
Chris Koza and Peter Sieve:
Joining Chris on stage for a series of special duet performances throughout the Midwest is his longtime friend and guitarist, Peter Sieve. The duo has been playing and performing together since they first met over acoustic guitars in the dorms at St. Olaf College. They've graced various festivals, including SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, and CMJ, and have covered long stretches of highways as storytellers in pursuit of a stage.
Additionally, Chris has self-produced, written, and released sixteen albums and EPs. In 2023, Rogue Valley released their sixth album, "Shell Game." Currently, Chris is unearthing old sessions and reimagining forgotten material for a collection called "Graveyard Shift," reviving songs spanning the last twenty years.
