Astronomers are now discovering Earth-like planets and searching for signs of intelligent life but what have we learned so far? Why are scientists so stubbornly skeptical about the possibility of alien visitors? Why has the US government been so interested in the subject of UFOs for the past 80 years? What clues, if any, can the abduction phenomenon offer about the possible existence of another, non-human intelligence? Have humans already made contact?

Chris Grant is a science educator, planetarium presenter, published author, and host of the podcast Universe University. In 2017, he wrote and presented the show When E.T. Calls at the Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado. He is currently working on a book about the history of space exploration.Mr. Grant holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in political science.
