It’s time once again for a musical adventure with Chris Costello and his Hedonic Orchestra; a collective of some of the region’s finest musicians. Mike Keogh on trombone and keys, Jake Bryant on saxophone, Glenn Bloomfield on bass and guitars and held together at the rear by Rex Carter on drums.Singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chris Costello has been entertaining audiences for many a year. He has written and released three albums with Brisbane band The Bowls Club, a collection of solo recordings and shared stages with some of the country’s biggest musical acts.
His songs have been described as a place where folk sits down besides country, where jazz climbs into bed with rock and where comedy slips it into tragedy when it's least expecting it. His relaxed shifting between various piano and guitar styles are accompanied by thoughtful and candid lyrics.
