In her career as a recording artist, background vocalist and vocal instructor, Chris has called the cities of Toronto, Nashville, Calgary and Hamilton, home. Years of festival appearances, concerts and studio sessions have led to other thrilling opportunities, such as performing for the Canadian troops in Bosnia, and contributing to the Grammy nominatedalbum Struck Down, by the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Chris has worked alongside Grammy winning producer Michael Omartian (Steely Dan, Christopher Cross) and producer/ songwriter Scott Baggett (Keith Urban, Buddy Guy) for the Chris Ayries release, Momentum. Her musical style is a mix of rock, old school R&B, and country, but her love and comfort with soul music is what always comes shining through.This show is part of the Sisters in Song Series.
