About Chris Hennessy
Chris Hennessy is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and speaker whose creative output has only intensified since his prostate cancer became stage IV in 2020. (currently in his lungs, spine, and bones).
A Rice University graduate, he produced over 1,500 professional films (1990-2018) for clients including Google, eBay, and the SF 49ers, while his Hennflix YouTube channel and other platforms have garnered 6.9 million views.
His television series Yolo YoYo's won Best New TV Cable Series, Access Sacramento, 2020, and his short documentary from Yolo YoYo's, Miracles on College Street, produced to promote Touched by Hannah, won the prestigious 'Film Heals' award (most inspirational) at the 2022 Manhattan Film Festival (NYC). The documentary also earned top five Best Documentary at Manhattan and was runner-up for 'Best Episode West Coast' honors at the 2022 ACM Western Region WAVE Cable TV Awards.
