Same Storm, Different Boats: Covid, Community and How We Come Together
Jason Strelitz (The Health Foundation) will summarise his new book 'Same Storm, Different Boats: Covid, Community and How We Come Together'.
In it he shares a candid, moving, and insightful account of the Covid-19 pandemic through the lens of Newham, East London-one of Britain's most diverse communities.
Panel members Raheem Mohammad (Hamara Health Living Centre) and Victoria Eaton (Leeds Public Health) will also give their reflections of the pandemic in Leeds and how different communities responded.
Jason, Raheem, and Victoria will debate questions from the audiance about communities and the future of public health.
The event is chaired by Professor Jane South from the Centre for Health Promotion Research.
