The next CGN history talk on Tues May 14th at 1.30pm, is about the Holy Name and St Augustine's Roman Catholic churches, which are near to each other on Oxford Road close to the centre of Manchester. They are very different churches, both with chequered histories This talk follows on from one I gave on Irish Manchester (see) and it looks at the role of the Jesuits in this history. All welcome
