St. John's Cathedral Choir will celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi with a festive evensong featuring Benjamin Britten's effusive cantata "Rejoice in the Lamb." Other music include the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis "King's College" by Joanna Forbes L'Estrange and Philip Radcliffe's responses. Jason Overall will play the organ prelude recital featuring works by Naji Hakim, Claude Debussy, César Franck, and Jehan Alain.
Complementary parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Cathedral. A festive reception will follow the service.
