After the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial on the beach in the morning, all are warmly invited to return in the evening (6:30pm) for Choral Evensong at St Hilary’s.This will be a beautiful service of music, prayer, and thanksgiving — giving thanks for peace, honouring those who gave their lives, and entrusting the world to God’s care.
The choir is made up of singers from across the Wirral, many of whom have sung as members of St Hilary’s choir in the past. Our organist, Glyn, served for many years as Director of Music here, and Andrew, our choirmaster, has enjoyed a long association with St Hilary’s both as organist and as a member of the congregation.
Everyone is warmly welcome. ❁
