Choir Party: Taylor Swift edition!

Choir Party is the one-night-only pop-up choir for people who love music but never thought a choir was for them!

CHOIR PARTY! is the amazingly fun one-night-only choir where we get together in a bar and learn to sing some pop bangers together. No commitment or prep needed – just turn up and get ready to sing along and have some fun!

Come along and grab a drink and have a chat. We'll do some warming up and a couple of games to get in the groove. Then we'll learn to sing a pop song in harmony! Then we'll have a break, learn a second song, then do both of them altogether with MASSIVE GUSTO. It's a thrill!

It's for everybody:

• people who haven't sung since primary school
• people who sing in the shower
• people who love to sing along at a festival
• people too chaotic to join a regular weekly choir
• people in community choirs who want to join in the fun
• people who LOVE this month's featured artist (hello Swifties!)
• and anyone that wants a fun night out that's a little bit different!

A neuroscientist might explain the power of singing with others when it comes to cortisol, seratonin and oxytocin. An anthropologist might point out we've all been singing along together since we were cavepeople around the fire. And a poet might say how good it is for the very soul. But for us, the great big smiles on people's faces when they're leaving tells the real story!

This edition of Choir Party is hosted by the amazing multi-instrumentalist and singing supremo Ben Swan, from Nunhead Choir, London City Voices and tons of other musical projects. He WILL get you hitting notes you had previously never dreamed of. Be ready!

Doors open at 7pm, singing starts at 7.30pm - come down early (and definitely don't be late!)
