Chobie Shedwell, a proud Michigan native from Ann Arbor, is excited to perform at Ironbark Brewing Co. He developed a love for music early on with an old Kay electric guitar gifted by his mother and has since become an accomplished musician, playing throughout Michigan and nearby states. Chobie’s witty and humorous style shines through in his music and stage presence, where he humorously requests shoeboxes filled with twenties.
His influences include John Prine and Todd Snider, blending country blues and jam rock into his unique sound. Nominated for “Best Male Singer” by the Performing Artists of Detroit in 2003, Chobie has built a loyal fan base over the years. His performances make even his favorite three chords sound fresh and distinct.
